Certified Fellow Liver Transplant Programme, Singapore.He completed his Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees from St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore. He was a faculty of Surgery for fifteen years, his last position being Professor of Surgery and Chief of the Laparoscopic and Surgical Gastroenterology Unit.

He has had training in advanced laparoscopic surgery and has successfully performed many operations. He also underwent training in Surgery of the liver as well as training in Liver transplantation in Singapore, London and Paris.
