Dr. D. Kiran Coelho

Dr. Kiran Coelho is a Consultant Gynaecologist, practicing OBGYN for the past 26 years. She is the Head of the Dept. of OBGYN at the Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai, where she is an Honorary Consultant. She is also an Honorary Consultant at the Holy Family Hospital, Bandra and Saifee Hospital, Mumbai and a Visiting Consultant at the Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai and St. Elizabeth's Hospital, MumbaiAfter completing her postgraduate studies at the Grant Medical College, Mumbai, she underwent training in Pelvic Ultrasound at Nassau County Medical Centre, New York, USA. She also trained in Minimally Invasive Surgery at Texas Women's Hospital, Houston, USA

Her special interest is Minimally Invasive Surgery and she has trained over 100 Gynaecologists in 'Key Hole Surgery'. She has co-authored a best selling book "Creative Love" which is now in its 6th edition. She is actively involved in activities such as sex educationin schools and has been conducting pre-marital courses for engaged couples organised by Snehalaya since 2002.
